In the process of evolving their brand and designing a new mobile app, it became clear that this was the start of a larger effort to consolidate software applications. With that in mind, we proposed and ultimately executed development of a formal design system. This was a time consuming and tedious task, but proved to be worthwhile in the end. As soon as we moved beyond our initial priorities, we were able to hit the ground running with a robust design library as we started tackling additional apps in their ecosystem—from small screen to large.
